Defender GO Continuous 24/7 | Recording Modes
The camera's recording and operational behavior is controlled through the Working Mode setting.
Accessing Working Mode
- On the Home Screen, tap the Settings icon on the camera you wish to edit.
- Select Working Mode.
- Choose your preferred mode.
- Tap Back (<) to save your changes.
The default setting is Continuous Recording Mode.
Working Mode Options
Continuous Recording (AOV – Always-On Video)
The camera records continuously and automatically adjusts performance based on the current battery level. Users may manually select another mode to override this behavior.
Power Saving Mode
The camera records only when motion or an event is detected, helping to maximize battery life.
High Performance Mode
The camera records continuously at the highest available frame rate. This mode is only supported when the camera is connected directly to a power outlet.
Sleep Mode
The camera automatically enters Sleep Mode when the battery level falls below 15%.
In Sleep Mode:
- Live View remains available.
- Playback remains available.
- Recording functions are disabled until the battery level is restored.
- The camera will not detect events or send alerts.
A microSD card must be installed to enable local recording. Without an SD card, recording settings will be replaced by available cloud recording options.
