Share your camera with family and friends so they can view live and playback from their own phone.

Share Your Camera

Each additional user requires their own account to share access.

On the Home Screen, tap the Settings icon on the camera you wish to edit.
Select Device Sharing.
Tap QR Code Sharing.
Set the preferred permissions for the shared user, then tap Confirm.
From the shared user's phone, open the ClearVu app, select the + icon in the top right and select Scan QR Code.
Scan the QR code from the first device and follow the prompts on the second device to add the camera.
Repeat these steps for each camera you want to share access with.

This QR code is valid until the expiration time displayed below. Once it expires, you'll need to generate a new one.

Permission Options

View Access – Real-time monitoring.
Control Access – Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ) (on supported devices), two-way talk, and device configuration.
Content Access – Cloud storage playback (default), local SD card playback, and event notifications.

Manage Shared Users

On the Home Screen, tap the Settings icon on the camera you wish to edit.
Select Device Sharing. Users you have shared with appear under Recent Shares.

Tap the icon beside a shared user to manage their name and permissions, or to remove their access.
