Defender GO Continuous 24/7 | Other Options
Additional camera settings can be found in the Settings menu. On the Home Screen, tap the Settings icon on the camera you wish to edit to access the options below.
Cloud Recording
Select More Options to turn cloud recording on or off.
Light Setting
Select Light Setting to turn the camera's indicator light on or off. Tap the ? icon to bring up a legend of what each indicator light status means:
- Red – Always On: Communication error.
- Red – Flashing at a constant speed (1 second/time): Waiting for network configuration.
- Green – Flashing quickly (0.2 second/time): Waiting for connection.
- Green – On for 10 seconds, then off: Network configuration successful.
- Orange – Flashes once: Motion detection trigger.
- Orange – Always On: Charging.
- Red-green quick alternation flashing: Firmware updating.
Device Information
Tap your camera's name at the top of the Settings menu to view device details, including Device ID, IP address, MAC address, and serial number. From this screen you can also:
- Check for firmware updates – Tap Firmware Update to check for available updates.
- View battery usage details – Tap Battery to see how much time the camera spent outside of Sleep Mode, how much time it spent detecting and recording events, and the number of alerts pushed over the last 24 hours or 7 days.
- Sync the time zone – Tap Sync next to Time Zone to match the camera to your phone's time zone.
- View the Device QR Code – Save this code to your phone album. It can be used to add the camera again if it is ever accidentally deleted from the app.
Reboot Camera
Select Reboot Camera to restart the camera. If refreshing multiple times fails to retrieve live video, try restarting the camera.
Delete Device
Select Delete Device to delete, unpair, and reset the camera. Only use this option if you no longer want the camera connected to your account.
